With humble origins, they work every single day to improve the lives of the young girls that participate in the program and set them on a solid course for their future. Their program serves young Indigenous girls from ages 10-17. The four components of the holistic Stardale Model encompass the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of life.

SAFE HAVEN FOUNDATION

Safe Haven Foundation has been actively delivering programs and serving the community since 2000. Their Founding Program Haven's WayTM duplicates that of a loving and supportive family environment, providing girls with a Safe Haven at which to heal and work through their issues, complete their education, and learn valuable life skills allowing them to become contributing members to our society.

Safe Haven Foundation also operates Therapeutic Recreation and Scholarship Programs, providing girls with opportunities to pursue their passions while further entrenching them in the community, and to complete their education equipping them for a lifetime of self-sufficiency.

There is no time limit on how long girls can stay at Haven's WayTM and as girls move on they remain forever a part of the Safe Haven Foundation family.

Safe Haven Foundation’s mission is to Help Give Calgary’s Homeless and At-Risk Teenage Girls Their Future Back.
